Introduction
Welcome to the walkthrough for Magic Encyclopedia 3: Illusions on Gamezebo. Magic Encyclopedia 3: Illusions is a casual adventure game for PC by Alawar Games. This walkthrough includes tips and tricks, helpful hints, and a strategy guide to complete Magic Encyclopedia 3: Illusions.






Chapter 1
Chapter 1, library

[list][*]In this tutorial level, simply follow the instructions.[/list]































Chapter 1, observatory

[list][*]Find all parts of the red potion, put it in the rack, and solve the puzzle.[/list]





[list][*]Click on the red potion to remove the illusions.[*]Now find all parts of the blue potion, put it in the rack, and solve the puzzle.[/list]





[list][*]Use the blue potion and the red potion to switch the illusions on and off, and find all the pieces of the telescope and of the magic parchment.[/list]





[list][*]When you've completed the magic parchment, put it on the board in the back in the red potion reality, and solve the puzzle.[*]Pick out the words in the right order to form the magic spell seen below.[/list]

[list][*]Use the levitating spell on the box on the bottom right, and use the piece of telescope on the telescope.[*]Return to the blue potion reality, and use the magic parchment on the board in this world to get the key spell.[*]Return to the red potion reality, and use the key spell on the lock.[/list]

[list][*]Click on the telescope, and re-arrange the stars to create the constellations.[/list]









[list][*]Click on the poster in the back to start another puzzle, where you need to click on the three constellations you have just seen.[*]Now find all the pieces of the magical staff.[/list]





[list][*]Use the wand on the floor, to start another puzzle.[*]Click on the matching colors to clear them.[*]Now click on the entry in the floor to go through.[/list]

Chapter 1, shipyard

[list][*]Find all parts of the bucket, and click on the water pump to fill it.[*]First use the bucket of water on the burning helicopter, refill it, and then use it on the hot wrench.[/list]

[list][*]Pick up the tool box in the bottom center, and then collect the various tools lying around. Now use the tools on the crate with the loose plank, and then use the tools on the helicopter to start a puzzle.[/list]

[list][*]In this puzzle, move the items around so that none of the beams cross.[*]Pick up the tool box in the bottom center, and then collect the various tools lying around.[/list]

[list][*]Find all the planks, the first 3 pieces of the scissors, and all the pieces of the crank; both in the normal view, and using the helicopter to switch off the illusions.[/list]





[list][*]Zoom in on the bridge in the back, and use the planks, and then the tool box.[*]Use the crank on the crane, and turn the crank to put the package down.[*]Use the helicopter view to see a board go up the ship, and click it.[/list]

Chapter 1, on board the ship

[list][*]Find all the pieces of the bell clapper, and use it on the bells to start a puzzle. Follow the order of the melody. Sand will fall from the hourglass.[*]Find all the pieces of the mop, use it on the bucket of water, and then use it to clean up the ink stain.[/list]

[list][*]Pick up the sand that fell from the hourglass to temporarily switch off the illusion in a certain spot; this will disappear after a while.[*]Find all the pieces of the compass needle, handle, and sail.[*]Put the compass needle on the broken compass to reveal the final part of the sail.[*]Use the piece of sail to repair the sail.[*]Use the handle on the winch, and click on the winch to raise the anchor.[/list]







Chapter 1, library

[list][*]Return to the library, find the 5 continents, and put them back on the globe.[/list]

[list][*]Click on the globe to start a puzzle. Move the parts around to complete the globe.[/list]

[list][*]When you're finished, the globe will open. Pick up the glasses inside.[/list]

Chapter 1, shipyard

[list][*]Return to the shipyard and find the last piece of the scissors, where the anchor first was.[*]Use the scissors to cut the rope from the crane. Use the toolbox on the chest that falls out, to open it. Zoom in on it to find a code.[*]Use the scissors to cut the 5 balasts from the side of the ship.[/list]

[list][*]Click on the storage, and use the code you found before to open the lock.[/list]



Chapter 1, storage

[list][*]Enter the storage space, and find the pieces of the broken jar.[*]After putting it back together, take it from your inventory, and hover over the several area's that light up to find fireflies. Click on the firefly to catch it.[/list]

[list][*]Find all the parts of the spade, and dig up the dig spot to find a watering can-piece.[*]Find all the parts of the watering can, and fill it up in the pond to find a part of the tobacco leaf.[*]Find all the parts of the tobacco leaf, and grind it up using the grinder on the table.[*]Use the spade on the pot.[*]Use the ground tabacco on the mandrake plant, and then collect all the mandrake seeds.[/list]

[list][*]Put the mandrake seeds in the pot, and water it with the watering can.[*]When it's full grown, use the spade to harvest up the mandrake, and pick up the root.[/list]

Chapter 1, ship

[list][*]Return to the ship, and use the mandrake root on the magic engine (the crystal ball in the middle). Click on the ship's wheel to end the chapter.[/list]




Chapter 2
Chapter 2, outside the temple

Find the first 9 coins, all pieces of the dragonfly, 6 marbles, all parts of the sun medallion and the first 4 parts of the chinese sign.



[list][*]Use the sun medallion on the lion statue to have it lift its paw. Click on the box underneath to zoom in, and put the dragonfly in there. This will open the box, revealing the final part of the chinese sign for fire. Pick it up.[*]Use the fire sign on the fireworks, and a lamp on the left will fall down; a marble will be visible next to where the lamp fell. Look at its hanging point with the glasses to find the last coin.[*]Look at the guard with the glasses to find out he's actually a demon.[*]Play his game, and win 5 times, and you'll find the marble behind the table.[*]Click on the door lock to zoom in, and use the marbles on it to get a marble puzzle.[*]Line up the marbles with their respective colors to open the door.[*]Enter the temple.[/list]

Chapter 2, temple

[list][*]Find 6 candles, all the pieces parts of the lotus flower, all parts of of the sack of sand and 3 pieces of the seal of the emperor.[/list]





[list][*]Attach the sack of sand to the gate to lift it, and then look at the gate with your glasses to find another piece of the paddle. Use the glasses to look to the left top of the dragon statue to find another piece of the paddle.[*]Put the lotus flower on the leaf in the river to reveal another piece of the paddle. Now find the other pieces of the paddle as well.[*]Use the paddle on the boat, and click on the boat to move down the river.[/list]

Chapter 2, old woman's house

[list][*]Find all the matches, all the pieces of the strange knife, 7 pieces of the ladder, 6 pieces of the gear belt, 4 pieces of the shuttle for the loom.[/list]





[list][*]Use the knife on the rope, and use the matches on the lantern.[*]Looking through the glasses, you will find the last piece of the gear belt where the box was first hanging. In normal view, you will now see a piece of the shuttle under the lantern, and a piece of the ladder in the top middle of the bridge.[*]Put the ladder up on the right, and click on the metal case to zoom in. Use the knife to remove the screws, and use the gear belt on the gears. Now flip the switch next to the case to lower the water level.[*]Look at the left side of the now dry canal, near the top, to find another part of the shuttle. Use the magic glasses to look at the middle of the bridge, to find the last part of the shuttle. Use the shuttle on the loom, to finish this scene for now.[/list]

Chapter 2, temple

[list][*]Return to the temple's main screen, and pick up the last candle from the bottom of the now dry canal. Use the glasses on the sea shell, to find another part of the emperor's seal.[*]Use the candles on the lit firework. Return to the old lady, set the switch again to refill the canal, and return to the temple. You will now see several lamps float through the canal; use the glasses to find a blue lamp, and zoom in.[*]Use the candle on the lamp to find the last piece of the emperor's seal. Drain the canal again (old lady, switch), and use the seal on the door on the bottom right of the drained canal.[/list]

Chapter 2, emperor's tomb

[list][*]Find all the parts of the helmet, and give it to the commander on the left.[*]Find all the parts of the spear, and give it to the commander on the right, and a piece of the spell will fall down from the ceiling next to him.[*]Find the rest of the pieces of the spell of destruction, and use it after zooming in on the box in the right back corner.[*]Find all the parts of the valve, and use it on the pipe. Click on the pipe to open it.[*]Zoom in on the box again, to find a part of the armor.[*]Find all the other parts of the armor, and give it to the commander in the middle.[/list]





[list][*]Go through the door at the end to enter the emperor's room.[/list]

Chapter 2, emperor's room

[list][*]Find all the parts of the musical instrument, and give it to the musician on the left.[*]You will receive a gem, and next to her, a part of the scoop with iron will appear.[*]Find all the other parts of the scoop with iron, and use it on the lava.[*]Find all the parts of the mold for a sword, zoom in on the stone stand next to the lava, and place the mold there. Use the scoop with molten iron on the mold.[*]Go back to the emperor's tomb, close the valve, and return to the emperor's tomb.[*]Find all the parts of the harness, and use it on the second horse.[*]Go back to the emperor's tomb, open the valve, and return to the emperor's tomb.[*]Find all the parts of the jug, and fill it with water.[*]Zoom in on the stone stand in the back, and use the water on the sword mold.[*]Pick up the sword, and give it to the commander.[/list]





[list][*]Go back through all the locations to find the pieces of the silkworm (refill the canal to get back to the outside).[/list]

[list][*]Return the silk worm to the old woman, talk to her, and wait for her to weave the silk thread. Use the silk thread on the loom, to start a puzzle.[*]In order, weave the colored threads.[*]Order for the bird weave: blue, green, yellow, red.[*]Order for the dragon weave: yellow, blue, red, green.[*]Order for the lion weave: blue, yellow, green, red.[*]Order for the lotus weave: red, green, blue, yellow.[*]Order for the phoenix weave: red, yellow, green, blue.[*]Pick up the silk cloak from the bed, return to the emperor's room, and give the silk cloak to the emperor. Put all three gems in the slots above the door to open the portal.[/list]




Chapter 3
Chapter 3, outside

[list][*]Find all the camel's thorns, and put it in it's food bowl.[*]Use the magic glasses to see the bag on the camel's back, to find a piece of the shovel.[*]Find the rest of the pieces of the shovel, and use it to dig out the head on the right.[*]Now you'll find a piece of the headdress near the right statue's chin.[*]Find the rest of the pieces of the headdress, and give it to the statue on the left.[*]Take the eye from the left statue's hand, and give it to the statue in the middle.[*]The statue in the middle will burn away some of the sand, revealing part of the stone beard.[*]Find the other parts of the stone beard, and give it to the statue on the right.[*]The statue on the right will open its mouth, revealing a part of the scepter.[*]Find the other parts of the scepter, zoom in on the door, and give the scepter to the pharaoh.[/list]





[list][*]Find the matching symbols to open the door.[/list]



Chapter 3, Tot's tomb

[list][*]Find all the parts of the flute, and use it on the snake.[*]Find all the parts of the scorpion tail, zoom in on the treasure chest in the back, and use it on the scorpion.[*]Find all the parts of the eye of Ra, and use it on the eye slot on the back wall.[*]Find all the parts of the Ankh, and use it on the sarcophagus.[/list]





[list][*]Find the 4 symbols (zoom in to the scorpion chest to find the hand symbol) and put them on their corresponding columns. Go to Bat's room.[/list]



Chapter 3, Bat's room

[list][*]Use the glasses on the goddess' hand to see a scale in her hand. After using an item on one of the cat statues, an item will appear on this scale.[*]Find all the parts of the collar, and use it on the first cat statue from the left.[*]Take part of the bellows from the goddess' scale, find all the other parts of the bellows, and use it on the fire pit. Take the ashes from the pit, and use it on the second cat statue from the left.[*]Take one of the brushes from the scale, find the other brushes, and use it to brush off the sand from the painting in the back.[/list]





[list][*]Repair the fresco, and find part of the goblet on the fresco. Find all the other parts of the goblet, and use it on the third cat statue from the left.[*]Take part of the cat head from the scale, find all the other parts of the cat head, and use it on the last statue.[/list]

[list][*]Find all the abacus beads, and use them on the abacus on the right wall to open a door on the bottom right. Go through it to the oasis.[/list]







Chapter 3, Oasis

[list][*]Find all parts of the feather, and use it on the falcon.[*]Behind the falcon, find a part of the sword, and find all the other parts of the sword.[*]Give the sword to the statue of Anubis, and it will reveal part of a hoe.[*]Find all other parts of the hoe, and use it on the X that has appeared in the sand on the right.[*]This will reveal part of the turtle. Find all the other parts of the turtle, and put it in the oasis.[/list]





[list][*]Use the glasses to see at the dig spot in the sand, where you found the turtle part, and you will see an oil lamp. Find all the pieces of the headscarf, and use it on the oil lamp. Click on the genie that comes out and talk to him.[*]Now click on the turtles to start a puzzle.[*]Move turtle 1 to the right, then move turtle 2 to the right, move turtle 1 up twice, and move turtle 3 left once. From here on, it is simple to move 5 of the available turtles into a slot on the left side of the pond.[/list]

[list][*]Give the coconut to the sphinx to get his key, and then use to open the Hall of Anubis.[/list]

Chapter 3, Hall of Anubis

[list][*]Find all parts of the tweezers, and use it on the twig in the crocodile's mouth, to reveal a weight. Find all the other weights.[*]Find all parts of the hammer, and use it on the jug, to reveal a grape.[*]Find all the other grapes, and feed it to the peacock, to reveal a piece of the tile.[*]Find all the other parts of the tile, and use it on the chest on the right.[*]Put the symbols in the chest in the right order to open it and find the Feather of Truth.[/list]









[list][*]Use the weights, and the Feather of Truth on the scales.[*]Put a weight of 22 (I used X, VII, III and II) on the scale with the feather to balance it out. Give the weighed Feather of Truth to the god Anubis to get your last assignment in Egypt.[*]Find one of the 5 pieces of a scarab in each of the scenes, and place the scarab in the portal behind Anubis to finish the chapter.[/list]

Hi there,

I could use some help with Me. I am stuck in chapter 2 at the old woman's where i just can't find the missing peaces.
The hintbutton keeps showing the boat....I need peaces ( hope i am spelling this right, forgive me but i am dutch lol) of the ladder, the spool and de ..belt. In other areas i see the floating lamps where one of them is missing a candle.
Can anyone help me please?
